THE ONE THOUSAND STEPS VILLAGE
Corenno Plinio is located on the eastern shore of the Lario, set on a rocky promontory between lake and mountains at the foothills of Mount Legnoncino. Located a few minutes from Dervio, of which it is a fraction, can be reached by car, boat, bike or on foot.
It founds its history in the deep past of Europe, from the Celts through the Roman Empire to the Middle Ages.
The hamlet, among the most beautiful of Lake Como, is characterized by long staircases carved in stone which connect the medieval square to the ancient pier, location of unmissable sunsets on the lake.
Visiting Corenno you will find historical evidences, sun-kissed picturesque and floral views, ancient dwellings, legend and poetry.
Impossible to leave Corenno Plinio without a memory, an emotion and a picture to post.
